UN elects Iran to commission on women’s rights…huh?

The outrage from the Obama whitehouse was…wait, what outrage? Coming from a President who attacks Israel at every turn for building homes in their nation’s capital, I guess this is all too expected.

Consider the case of Soraya M., adapted from a book by French-Iranian journalist Freidoune Sahebjam into a movie that is both terrifying and shocking. The story is a true one, about a woman whose husband wants to divest himself of a marriage so he can paedophilically marry a 14 year old girl. He finds a way when his wife cooks dinner for a neighbor who has lost his wife–charging her with adultery.

In the West we assume most stories end well, justice prevails over evil, but this was not the case for Soraya M, as Sharia law convicted her, buried her to her waist, and she was stoned to death.

Unlike Mr Obama, we cannot foolishly project our values upon other cultures. Iran is not a good place for human rights.

A recent story from FOX details one Iranian Police chief who is threatening to arrest women with suntans.

“In some areas of north Tehran we can see many suntanned women and young girls who look like walking mannequins,” he continued. “We are not going to tolerate this situation and will first warn those found in this manner and then arrest and imprison them.”

You’ve come a long way baby!

I have argued before with people who like to compare us to the world, saying that many members of the U.N. hate the USA. Let them hate us, we have the high ground. Much of the U.N. reminds me of a Star Wars bar scene of various dictators who allow paedophilia, white slavery, the caste system, female genital mutilation, anti-semitism, violation of women’s rights (women as cattle), and outright slavery and genocide.

Yet we are the “bad people”? Personally I could care less about the world’s perception, what worries me is that the President seems to agree with them.

This action by the United Nations should remove all credibility they may have had. It is tantamount to electing Nazi Germany to a commission on Jewish relations.

MMA Legend Don Frye not a big Obama Fan

April 29, 2010 1 comment

Youtube clip: Don Frye versus Takayama (One of Frye’s most famous battles)

He was in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) before it was big. He also became a huge fan favorite in Japan under the Pride Fighting Championships. Basically, if you know the legendary toughness attributed to Chuck Norris, then you probably should know Don Frye. With a voice that sounds like dry granite, and a mustache any Cowboy would respect.

Don Frye is a “Man’s man”. And he fears no man, either.

In the above interview, Don is his interesting self as usual, talking about fighting (still), gawking at the girls, and expressing his very American (Conservative) political views.

In an interview by Ariel Helwani, Helwani asks Frye about “Competition” between MMA organizations:

AH: “Do you think it’s good for the sport to have number two competition? Someone threatening the UFC? (Ultimate Fighting Championship)

DF: “Oh hell yeah, competition is what made the USA great…”

Don then goes on to talk about the root of the problem as he see it in America right now:

“We’re a great nation, as long as we don’t go Socialist.”

Helwani doesn’t know what to make of this discussion, but Frye continues, making it pretty clear when the problem started. It was right about the time of the Bailouts under President George Bush, and then Barack Obama was elected and all bets were off.

“We need to stay the course, the way we were several years ago. Now we’re kinda veering off in the wrong direction…Capitalism is what makes the country great.”

Frye, a true character, also seems to know his History, and it is evident in this quote:

“I don’t want to see anything go socialist…it’s a proven failure.”

More a living legend at this point than a man, Don Frye may just live forever.

A ticket to ride–to San Francisco

Hot Air talks about the move by San Francisco to ban travel to Arizona by public employees in a recent story.

Eager to burnish the city’s reputation as a Liberal enclave, it seems that Mayor Gaven Newsome quickly jumped at the chance to make a headline. Illegals take note, one of the most friendly sanctuary cities in America toward you is San Francisco.

I have a solution that I think would aid both Arizona, and the illustrious and deteriorating (although beatiful) city of San Francisco:

Give a free one way ticket to any illegal who wants to relocate to San Francisco.

This is a great solution. Think about it, Arizona can reduce it’s problems with illegal immigration, the lawlessness, the high unemployment, the benefit costs, and they can say they are looking out for illegals. After all, if you move to an American safe haven, they don’t have to return to Mexico.

San Francisco can then claim the highest illegal population in America. They can change their city language to Spanish, and staunchly enforce it. Speaking English will become a “no no”. Sure, it will be costly, but considering that Nancy Pelosi is your congressman, just ask her for the money to do it. It is for a worthy cause.

Overnight, San Francisco can become Mexico, and why not?

Right now, illegals already want to leave Arizona. People will not pick up day laborers, for fear of breaking State (which mirrors unenforced Federal) law.

Everyone gets what they want: Arizona residents, who favor the new law, get to rid their state of many problems, while San Francisco can express it’s endless political and Social Liberalism.

I am sure that if a fund is made to help pay for this, the American people will help out these people. Since 60% of Americans support Arizona, a great many will contribute to the “Illegal relocation project”. Sure, a ticket can also be back to Mexico or whatever country of origin if you wish, or to San Francisco.

Let’s make this happen people!

Immigration control the Mexican Way

In the recent days since Arizona passed it’s tough new law to enforce it’s border, we have seen:

1. Rioting illegals
2. One documented case of defacing a public building with a refried bean Swastika.
3. Al Sharpton move in and claim that the Arizona law is racism, ignoring that it is poor blacks who are losing their jobs to illegal immigrants.
4. A move by San Francisco, Las Angeles, and one of Arizona’s own Congressman urging a boycott of the state.
5. Mexican President Calderon warning the Mexican people that they might face “intolerance, hate, discrimination and abuse”–oh really?

The Liberal talking points are that any enforcement of our borders or scrutiny of obvious illegal immigrants is racism, violation of civil rights, and just plain not nice.

Michelle Malkin has a remarkable writeup of how Mexico treats non-citizens, and it is a worthy read.

Lets just say that if we treated illegal aliens even half as harshly as Mexico, we would not have a problem at all:

– The Mexican government will bar foreigners if they upset “the equilibrium of the national demographics. So if there are too many “non-Latino” immigrants, they can tell you to leave? Yes.

– If outsiders do not enhance the country’s “economic or national interests” or are “not found to be physically or mentally healthy,” they are not welcome. Too poor, no visible means of employment? Get out of our country.

– Illegal entry into the country is equivalent to a felony punishable by two years’ imprisonment. Compare this to our “catch and release” program. The worst that an illegal has to face in America is to be sent back to Mexico or their country of origin. And in most “sanctuary cities” illegals are just released back into the USA and asked to return for a trial, which they never do.

– Law enforcement officials at all levels — by national mandate — must cooperate to enforce immigration laws, including illegal alien arrests and deportations. The same as the Arizona law, but the military also can take part. Right now illegal immigrant rights groups and the ACLU are fighting a request for troops on our borders.

– Ready to show your papers? Mexico’s National Catalog of Foreigners tracks all outside tourists and foreign nationals. They know who is in their country, period.

Michelle goes on to note that illegals who try to break Mexican immigration law are treated horribly. They can basically be shot for crossing the border.

Considering the above details, can you say that the Arizona law is overly harsh? Of course not. Right now the Federal Govt already has laws on the books enacted during the Reagan era that they refuse to follow. A nation without laws or borders is not nation.

Get ready for “Obamnesty”

Few knew that we were racially profiling innocent job workers as they came across the Southern border of the United States, but we apparently were. The fact that many Mexicans look alike, wear similar clothes, and universally seem unable speak English being used as factors mere feet from the U.S. border should not be allowed, or at least that is what we are being told.

What is the limit? A mile, five, one-hundred? At what point does the assertion that a person acts, speaks, and looks like an illegal alien become “racial profiling”? If you ask a person for their green card mere feet from the border couldn’t this also be a slur against their civil rights?

In the world of Barack Obama, it seems the goal is to never be able to ask for identification of national identity. Why? Because he needs the voters to finish the job he has started to fundamentally destroy the American way.

Think about it, did you ever think you would see large groups of obvious illegals shouting about their “Right” to free healthcare, jobs, schooling, and residency? Could it happen in Mexico? Of course not, they have borders there they defend, and arrest people who violate them.

Did you ever think that Mexico’s President would comment about Arizona state law? This recently happened when Felipe Calderon said that Arizona’s law would cause more “hate”. My question to Mr Calderon would be, “By whom?”.

After all, it isn’t American citizens who are smearing refried beans on the windows of state buildings in the shape of a swastika. It isn’t Mexican ranchers who are being murdered by Americans streaming across their border.

Ignoring borders and allowing uncontrolled immigration is what destroys nations. It destroys culture. And when a nation is no longer unified in a way where it’s citizens see themselves as part of that nation, then they can easily revolt against that country.

If you talk to many illegals, they hold no great regard for the United States, in fact many say our country is not as good as their own. Why come here? Not Freedom, but free-things: Free benefits.

Barack Obama wants open borders. Open borders mean a never ending stream of Democrat (Socialist) voters. Who loses in this scenario? Anyone who currently is an American citizen. Our lives, our country, and our children’s future will be squandered to enrich the world’s poor. And it is happening without our concent, but by the illegals who are coming here, and the Govt that wants them to gift them with power.

Arizona’s law is doing what the Federal law already has the ability and requirement to do, but isn’t. It is simply allowing State troopers and police officers to identify and detain illegal immigrants for the very act of breaking our nations laws.

If we don’t stop this, in 40 years we will not longer be the “United” States, but an amalgam of fighting international invaders intent on divying up the remainder of our nations resources.

They are the poison, we are the cure

Wow, this is pretty enlightening. Bertha Lewis, ACORN CEO, speaking to the Young Democratic Socialists, makes it pretty clear what she thinks of the Tea Party:

“This rise of this Tea Party so-called movement — bowel movement in my estimation — and this blatant uncovering and ripping off the mask of racism.”

And it should not be surprising that this woman considers herself a Socialist, because she says she is:

“Any group that says, ‘I’m young, I’m Democratic, and I’m a socialist,’ is all right with me. You know that’s no light thing to do — to actually say, I’m a socialist — because you guys know right now we are living in a time which is going to dwarf the McCarthy era. It is going to dwarf the internment during World War II. We are right now in a time that is going to dwarf the era of Jim Crow and segregation,”

Hmm, wow. Do we need to remind us that ACORN is the former employer of Barack Obama? Or that the Democratic Socialist Party endorsed the now President when he ran for office in Illinois?

It is hard to wallow with pigs and not get dirty, in my opinion.

I laughed when I heard Bertha Lewis saying that the Tea Party is a “bowel movement” because she gets it all wrong. We are fiber, the bowel movement is going to come in 2010 and in 2012.

Lewis’ hyperbolic statements are simple fear-mongering. We do not wish to send anyone to internment camps, we just don’t want to end up in those camps ourselves. The Left, in it’s vitreol, would leap at the chance to strip American rights if it gave them a chance at total power and control.

The Tea Party believes in Freedom, and that includes Ms. Lewis’ refreshing honesty. If Barack Obama was as truthful, he would not be President today.

Buy a truck, get an AK-47

April 22, 2010 1 comment

Another CNN reporter “owned” by a Conservative business man.

It is pretty hilarious how the reporter seems to ponder why anyone would need an AK 47. That is not the point, people have the right to own one if they wish. Further, if an advertisement for an auto dealership offends your sensibilities, then don’t buy a car from them.

This video really defines the Liberal mentality well, and reflects it upon what the average American believes. Basically, to the CNN reporter, there are a few “truths” which she feels are basic, but are actually Liberal baloney of the highest order:

AK 47s, being an “ugly gun” are not needed in our society.

The AK 47 is probably the most popular gun in the world. It is highly reliable, and can work with little lubrication, in the sand and mud, ect. It is also an effective deer rifle. The Maxmotors representative makes a great point about how 2 people and their foster children were attacked and killed with firearms that were likely illegal, as they may have been fully automatic. AK 47s sold in the US are not fully automatic. I am not saying that an AK would be my first choice for home defense, but it certainly would work as one.

The use of “God” in an advertisement.

I wonder if this woman actually thinks that any reference to God, be it Jesus, Buddha, Allah, ect. is illegal to use or in some way offensive. Again, if the people that buy trucks and cars object to this, they will not buy from Maxmotors. But it seems to be working for them.

The use of “American” in an advertisement.

Yep, we have gotten to the point in Obama’s America…oops, I mean in Obama’s “equal world entity” where the use of the word “America” is not longer politically correct. You can see who these CNN people voted for, and at the same time they think we are stupid enough not to notice.

Personally, I could care less if someone used “satan” in an ad for a blender. I just wouldn’t buy that product if it offended me. To the Left, words that they disagree with need to be banned, and the mere mention of a gun eradicated from society.
