Dennis Prager and the war of 2010

The above video is pretty powerful. It defines the great stakes we face if we allow our Government to continue it’s downward spiral into European Socialism. Basically, we have a choice; We have a choice between American exceptionalism, and acceptance of European mediocrity. The choice should be bold, but generations of Liberal indoctrination have led us to become a nation split between the politically aware, and the hopelessly apathetic.

President Obama, Prager states, is not the key–it is the movement which must be stopped. To a great degree I believe this is true. The first step is certainly to halt Congressional Leftism in 2010. However, it is also certainly true that a less ideologically Leftist man or woman in office would never have taken the steps Mr Obama has taken, be it for pragmatism or simple love of country.

Barack Obama is neither brilliant or an complete dullard. He is a narcissist. His failures are redistributed as much as he wishes to redistribute wealth. He knows what he has been taught, and boldly refuses to believe his teachings could be wrong. Others would surely begin to question their own beliefs, were they truly deep thinkers, upon constant data showing the depth of this failure. Not so with Obama. Perhaps because he doesn’t care about America being great, he wishes for American diminishment. And this is a very scary stance for an President to take.

Prager talks about the bold actions of the American military in regards to the destruction of Naziism. Would an Obama have been willing to face down with Hitler? It is doubtful. He would have extended an open hand, even when faced with a slap.

We are facing the most Liberal Congress in History. One which is beyond reason. They are hoping to snatch power via Government action. And amongst these actions they have tipped their hand: Pursue personal and Govt power over the betterment of their own country. The American citizen is a simple tool to be used, and a way to fund their enslavement machine. And to halt an increasingly enlightened populous bent on stopping their actions, they wish to bring in new “citizens” in the form of amnesty, to destroy the threat of losing this attained power.

America has a very great choice and responsibility in 2010. It will be a greater decision than any this country has ever faced; We can choose unabashed Americanism, or planned obsolescence. Obama and his handlers want America destroyed–will you play along?

Colonel Allen West

Before I did this blog, I often sent out my own version of an email “blog” where I would highlight people who intrigued me. I recieved an email with the above video of Colonel Allen West. Before I played it, I was unsure of just what sort of person Col. West was, or what he stood for. But after watching it, I found myself wanted to cheer. Patriot? Of course, but to simply define him as a patriot alone falls far short. Allen West is an outspoken hero in my opinion.

Watch the video, and tell me you don’t agree. It will be hard to do so.

What I like in a Politician we rarely see today. To be truthful, forcefully outspoken, to have a Love of country. To shake the hand of such individuals is a powerful experience. It is not the same as simply being “star struck” by a Barack Obama or Bill Clinton, it is to know that such men as George Washington still exist. In this day and age, that alone is inspiring.

Colonel West is currently running for Congress out of the State of Florida. He deserves the support of the American people.

Meet the Democrats: First suicide bomber party ever!

People all over the USA are asking “Why are they doing this?” when discussing the stubborn dedication of the Democrats to Obamacare that will wreak havoc on American Government. It will surely cost Trillions of dollars as time goes on, and at a time when Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid are going broke. The Democrats, via the prodding of the President, have already strapped on the vests and are waiting to press the button. Sure, they will all be vaporized in November, and they will blow a gaping hole in the side of our economy, but it is BELIEF that drives them, not dedication to people or country.

But that we could expect the old fashioned belief that we elect these people to serve our wants, unfortunately it isn’t the truth. It has been a long time in the coming that bit by bit, incrementally, America is becoming a ruled class, and our “Representatives” the rulers.

Just as Jihadists blow themselves up to be seen as a Martyr in the eyes of Allah, these people follow their own religion: The religion of big Govt.

Just as the devoutly religious ask their members to tithe to help the church, the Govt Jihadist expect and enforces his own harsh taxation on the masses. And just as the religious have their ministers of faith, the Left has their own Ministers: Obama, Gore, Pelosi, and Reid.

“Ask not what you can do for your country, but what your Government can do for you–AMEN!!”

Their apostles are Marx, Lenin, Mao, and an untold number of heroes who never amounted to much other than founding a movement of Genocidal power. Hmph, thinks the Bureaucrat, we all know a few eggs must be broken to make an omelet.

You see to these people, the true Believers, the only orders they follow are of their next higher Bureacrat, or the philosophy they read about in college. They believe now is their time.

Grimly, although very nervously, the Democrat suicide bomber straps on their bomb, grits his/her teeth to prove himself to “God”. For only in this way, destruction, can a holy Utopia be formed. A Utopia of collective “yes”, where disagreement is either apothetically absorbed, or punished by Federal Lawsuit.

They march into the Congress, facing the hated infidels who oppose them, and know that this one vote might be the final one of their careers, but that they will become the martys of a new way. Those that follow will idolize them, and it will be much harder for them to be challenged.

Grimly, although excitedly, they push the button.

Harry Reid: 36,000 lost their jobs, that’s a good thing

It’s 1:05 am, but I couldn’t help but post this video. It will surely come back to haunt Senator Harry Reid. Running up to the jobs report, the Obama Administration touted a probable employment loss of over 50,000. Now we know the reason why, they wanted this number to look better than it really is.

Can you say, “Jobless Recovery”?

CNN Poll: Glowbama to Nobama

February 17, 2010 8 comments

Shocker! CNN Poll indicates that 52% of Americans polled do not want Barrack Obama to be reelected in 2012. And this is a CNN poll, which have been known in the past to overpoll Democrats.

Is the Glow fading? So it seems. Although, the President still has a personal likeability of 49/50. So many people still like the President personally. I think this is due to the President’s attempt to stay “above the fray” and letting Congress run the show. However, this is found to be maddening by leading Democrats like Howard Dean, who want the President to take charge and lead.

This morning on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” the comparison was made between Presidents Obama and Carter. It was said that these were/are the “thoughtful” cerebral Presidents who don’t act immediately, but consider a huge number of possible scenarios before action. The end result is usually, as was Carter’s case, complete immobility and failure.

It’s like if you go on a date with your girlfriend and a drunk attacks her as you stand considering the options: Fight him (I might get hurt or hurt him), run (but what about my girlfriend), call the Police (Will they get there in time?), give a “shout out” to a friend, to ask advice, scream for help, try to restrain the thug, ect.

In reality, this scenario ends up with you standing there with your hand under your chin with a thoughtful expression saying “Hmmm…”.

Of course, the opposite mentality is the “mover”. This mentality is one of almost immediate action, good or bad. As reckless as this can seem, it often is found in great leaders. They use their “gut sense” to make their decisions.

Another part of the poll shows that Congress fares even worse then the President, with 44% of individuals saying they would prefer if their elected Representative “Hit the bricks”. And this is the highest rate of dissatisfaction ever in this poll since it’s inception. And the rate is the same for Democrats and Republicans.

Call it the “Tea Party effect”.

Right now many Democrats, at least the leadership, are under the impression that people are mad because the Healthcare bill isn’t getting passed. But, a new Zogby poll says scrap the bill and start over at a rate of 57% over the fans of Socialized Healthcare.

The impression is clear, more Americans believe that the country, and the President’s agenda, are going in the wrong direction.

Rasmussen has another interesting poll result: Even if Obama and the Democrats raise taxes to bring the deficit down, 58% of Americans believe that they will keep spending.

So far, the feeling that most people have about the Democrats and Obama is that they exhibit typical Liberalism: Tax and spend

Few could disagree.

The Tea Party’s “Contract from America”

February 16, 2010 7 comments

This is a great start, a bold set of initiatives defining what the Tea Party stands for. Notice that unlike Newt Gingrich’s “Contract with America”, this is a ground up contract of our expectations.

The next step is getting politicians to sign on to these beliefs. If they do so, they get our support. If not, they will be in our sights.

The “Contract from America”:

•Amending the constitution to require a balanced budget and a two-thirds majority for any tax hike.
•Permanently repealing all tax hikes scheduled to begin in 2011.
•Requiring every bill in Congress to be made public seven days before any vote can be taken and all government expenditures authorized by any bill to be easily accessible on the Internet before the money is spent.
•Requiring each bill to identify the specific provision of the Constitution that gives Congress the power to do what the bill does.
•Permitting all health insurance plans to be sold anywhere in the United States through the purchase of insurance across state lines. Allow small businesses and associations to pool together across state lines to buy insurance.
•Adopting a simple and fair single-rate tax system by scrapping the internal revenue code and “replacing it with one that is no longer than 4,543 words — the length of the original Constitution.”
•Imposing a statutory cap limiting the annual growth in total federal spending to the sum of inflation rate plus the percentage of population growth.
•Allowing Americans to opt out of Social Security and Medicare and instead put those same payroll taxes in a personal account “they own, control and can leave to whomever they choose.”
•Preventing any regulation or tax on the Internet.
•Improving education by eliminating ineffective and wasteful programs, giving parents more choices from pre-school to high school and improving the affordability of higher education.
•Authorizing the exploration of proven energy reserves to reduce our dependence on foreign energy sources from unstable countries and reduce regulatory barriers to all other forms of energy creation, lowering prices and creating competition.
•Prohibiting the Federal Communications Commission from using funds to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine.
•Creating a Blue Ribbon task force that engages in a complete audit of federal agencies and programs.
•Blocking state and local governments that receive federal grants from exercising eminent domain over private property for the primary purpose of economic development or enhancement of tax revenues.
•Preventing the EPA from implementing costly new regulations.
•Placing a moratorium on all earmarks until the process is fully transparent. Also requiring a two-thirds majority to pass any earmark.
•Making all lawmaking regulators, including presidential appointed czars, be affirmatively approved by Congress and signed into law by the president.
•Audit the Federal Reserve System.
•Making sure the federal government does not bail out private companies. The government should also immediately divest itself of its stake in the private companies it owns from recent bailouts.
•Amending the constitution to require congressional term limits. No person shall be elected to the Senate more than twice or to the House of Representatives more than four times.
•Making all regulations “sunset” after 10 years unless renewed by congressional vote.
•Broadcasting all non-security meetings and votes on C-SPAN and the Internet.

Feel free to give us your comments. Are they missing anything?
