An Impeachable offense?

This video of Dick Morris on “Hannity” makes a powerful point: Can a President ignore Federal law and the Constitution for poltical gain?

Morris makes a great point when he notes that the “Chicago politics” of illegal bribery via power-mongering cannot be allowed to extend into the Federal realm. It is bad enough in Chicago, do we want a nation run in this way?

I recently had a bit of an argument with a friend on Facebook about Obama. She said that he was a nincompoop who deserves little in the form of histrionics to define him. Basically, she was saying that Obama was a foolish “light weight”. But can we say that about a man who is willing to use and misuse every Presidental power to irrevocably change our nation? I think it would be a mistake to underestimate either his radicalism or his ability as given to him by the people and a Congress with the power to enforce his will.

A President who is willing to break the law is dangerous. A President steeped in radicalism with an “Get it done for Marxism” credo is something that should be challenged. Sure, we cannot assume that he has pure Dictatorial power, he doesn’t, yet. But he is setting a precident–if you can get it done, do it and disregard the electorate.

These people know a few things that are pretty terrifying: They know that if they control Congress, they can pass just about anything and disregard ethics, law, or future challenge. They hope to pack the courts with radicals who will support their changes. They also know that the media will support them, or in the very least ignore their vicious attack on America. They also assume weakness from their opponents; the Republicans are fearful of full-blown Conservatism, as evidenced by the faux breed such as David Brooks and David Frum, or for that matter “consensus builders” like Lindsey Graham or John McCain.

Will the media pursue a scandal greater than any under Bush? I highly doubt it. Will Republicans charge Barack Obama with “high crimes and misdemeanors”? Or do they fear the media calling them racists? Personally, I wonder.

Nation is greater than individual power or gain. The people are greater than the elected. But given the power we have so wrongly provided them, Congress and the President feel they are Kings and Queens, not Representatives.

We need to change their minds. We need to let them know the fear of misusing their offices at the ballot box. And once ejected, we must enforce the rule of law and monitor our new policians closely. We cannot affford to resume our long sleep, or that sleep will become a coma.

Ben Franklin: “A Republic, if you can keep it”

This video does an incredible job of explaining how our Government should work, and the dangers of mob rule, anarchy, and Oligarchy/Dictatorship.

It is interesting how the Left has conveniently called Fascism a movement of the Right, when the German Socialist Party was a party of Government control. This video clears this up well, explaining that Government power/control has extremes, with the American/early Roman “Republic” in the middle, granting little power to Government, and extensive power to the individual.

What we are seeing right now in our Country is an attempt to destroy the Republic. If that occurs, the Left wins. Even if there were a point of Anarchy, those on the Left feel that they will assume total power at some point. This can only occur if we dash the basis of Constitutional limits on Government power.

This is why it is so important to repeal Obamacare, as it extends Federal power to a point where it is greater than that of the States, imposing a “right” to control what people purchase. If you think that this would be the end of attempts to assume control over the electorate, guess again. It is simply a “shot across the bow” or a “Trial balloon”.

Suppose that a future Federal Government decides to make you buy solar panels, or an electric car, or says that when you “buy” energy they have the right to “monitor” your thermostat? Nothing is impossible if the Government extends it’s rights to force you to purchase what they deem as correct. Personal choice? It will be a thing of the past.

“Stupid” Tea Partier owns Congressman

You have heard the claims by members of the media and from certain members of the Left (not that the two aren’t the same group at this point) that members of the Tea party are actually misguided nincompoops who don’t know a thing, but are simply expressing their feelings about a President of color.

In the above video, we find out just how smart many members of the Tea Party are. The Tea Party believes in the Constitution as the bedrock of what makes America what it is, while many politicians see it as just a Historical document, or in some cases as meaningless. Some even see it as a roadblock to “Change”–ahem, Mr. President?

I have strongly urged those who have never been to a Tea Party to experience one. Especially if you are a Democrat or Obama voter. Do not believe what you hear on the television, come experience it for yourself. You will find that much of what is said and done is mere Patriotism and love of country, coupled with a concern for the future of this great nation.

If you talk to the average Tea Partier you will likely be surprised at their knowledge of History and politics. Many of these people may be new to the Political world, but were always tried and true believers in History.

The Republican Congressman in this video can be blamed for his lack of knowledge about the Constitution, but few can quote it word for word. I don’t think this is needed. But, our Political leaders should know the basic tenets of what the Constitution says.

At least this man was allowed to speak. Can you imagine how quickly a Democrat Representative would have shut him down, ridiculed him, or had Union thugs scream and shout him down? When allowed to speak, the Tea Party seems remarkably sane in comparison, no?

I know you are, what am I?

This is one of the most informative videos exposing the black heart of some Democrats in Congress, and why we need to remove them at the ballot box. Frankly, it is similar to the United Nations calling out Israel and the United States for hate crimes while a good number of UN members still allow slavery, child prostitution, and female genital mutilation. This is not just the pot calling the kettle black, it is the pot calling the snow black.

Representative Steve Cohen’s words drip with hatred for the Tea Party, saying that it’s members are little more than Nazis and KKK members. Sigh, don’t these people ever get any new material?

As a defender of Israel I am getting pretty tired of the Liberal Jew who cares little about possible Genocide in Israel, while relishing the destruction of the United States via their loopy Marxist ideals. I know many great Jews who swear “never again” to the next holocaust, and understand how important the survival of the United States is.

Cohen is someone who needs to be removed from Congress for his phoney and ridiculous statements, and we can do it next time he is up for reelection. Mr. Cohen, we will not forget you or your words about the American people.

At one point Cohen talks about how he wished that he could shut up the protesters during the vote for Obamacare, then scoffed when a Republican challenged him by reminding him about this little thing called the 1st Amendment to the Constitution.

Cohen lets the cat out of the bag I think. He admits he hates America, wants to shut up those he disagrees with, and that he is willing to criticize any American that disagrees with Socialism. Poor Steve, he needs to get together with Sean Penn and they can slobber all over each other about Hugo Chavez.

Let them know Fear.

Why I am a Conservative

I couldn’t say it better myself. When I first watched this video, I found myself almost verbally saying out loud, “You’re right!” but of course I retrained myself. I wish that this man used his full name, but we do know his first name is “Jamal”. He should seriously run for office in my opinion, and I urge him to do so.

It constantly amazes me how Liberals/Progressives try to define Conservatives and Tea Party members as being uninformed. We are not uninformed. Just talk to any Conservative and ask them their opinion on any issue. They will give you a well thought out argument for their beliefs.

I think the reason for this is that we know the basis for greatness. Ronald Reagan knew this all too well, he knew that it was the greatness of the people that made America what it is. When he called the United States, “The Shining City on the Hill” it was not mere rhetoric. Jamal does not say it, but it sounds like he would define himself as a Reagan Conservative.

What worries the Democratic Party is that there are more people out there like Jamal than they dare recognize. They cannot understand why we do not willingly accept the yoke of Government. It is their own denial that forces them to demonize the American people. They cannot believe that so many disagree with their heavy-handed tactics, as their tiny inner circles are so completely opposite from us in Philosophy.

What do you do when the “Great Awakening” occurs among the American people? Perhaps you try to define them as radical or label them as racist, homophobic, sexist, or just plain dumb. It is their last hope of shaming some into voting for their legislative slavery. Will it work? I wouldn’t bet on it–but it is the only bet they have left.

It is Conservatives like Jamal that inspire others via their deep belief in the American “brand” of free and open Capitalism, Liberty, and Constitutional adherance that is truly revolutionary. Is it “progressing” to force failed Marxist principals upon the last and greatest Republic? When considered logically, can there be any other way of thinking but Conservatism? It not a “feeling” like Liberalism, it is based on tried and true principals. While some may disagree, and we welcome their debate, they truly have little chance of winning beyond forcing their beliefs upon us.

Congressman James Oberstar’s “Jesus was a Socialist” endorsement

The one thing we should have learned from the election of Barack Obama is to look into the background, words, and who a person endorses for their true beliefs. Young Barack Obama had a Communist mentor, was a good friend and neighbor of domestic terrorist/Marxist William Ayers, was endorsed by the Socialist party in Illinois, and had a radical minister, also a Marxist, called Jeremiah Wright.

Is there any doubt why America faces the Governmental overreach that it does today? Once a Marxist, always a Marxist.

Congressman Oberstar has been representing Minnesota for a very long time. He has disguised his true views by supporting gun owners and being anti-abortion. However, recently he proved he is actually pro-abortion by voting for Obamacare. Is he actually anti-gun? Would he support huge taxes on ammunition and guns? Huge fees to transfer or buy a firearm? The answer is unknown, we only have his word, and lately his word isn’t so good.

And then we get to the issue of his judgement. It is of great importance to know exactly how well a Congressman/Senator would choose as he/she makes decisions for the electorate. And herein lies the problem with Congressman Oberstar, he endorsed a deeply Marxist Minnesota Representative for the position of Governor of the State, Thomas Rukavina.

If you don’t believe me, just watch the Youtube video above. What does it mean when Rukavina both criticizes “Old capitalism” and at the same time says that “Jesus was a Socialist”? It means he embraces Socialism.

And what would a Socialist as Governor mean for Minnesota? Higher taxes, exploding Govt, huge regulations and an anti-business environment. Siding with unions over the private sector is a virtual guarantee. Do you want this? If so, please comment. If not, let me know your feelings.

James Oberstar does not even live in the State he Represents. And now he endorses an admitted Marxist for Governor. I think it is time for us to retire him for good.

Surprise! Obama not really a Constitutional law Professor

Much of Barack Obama’s life has been criticized as a Sham, and his actions seem to constantly reinforce people’s suspicions, be they real or fictitious.

Just look at the case of the “Birthers” who believe that Barack Obama was not born in the USA and hence is unable to hold that office. The Birthers should be a group that would be easy to shut up, simply put out your birth certificate to be examined by the media. The President has still not done this. He seems convinced that the word of a couple of Hawaiian croneys should be enough. They have sealed his records and refuse to let anyone look at them, stating it is for reasons of “identity theft”. Does anyone really think you could get away with pretending to be Barack Obama? Seriously?

The fact that the President’s greatest “Birther” detractor is a Democrat doesn’t help either, or that he has defended these records at the cost of over $200,000.

Just end this, Mr President. Shut them all up and get on with your failed Presidency. Why not?

The issue of the President’s college records are also up for speculation.
Perhaps the fact that “Dumb George Bush” had better grades at Yale than Al Gore and John Kerry make him worry.

What is more concerning is the fact that the Professors that Barrack Obama worked with state he was “never a Professor of Law”, and it also appears that he never published any while at Harvard, as would be required of an actual Editor of the Harvard Law Review, a position he appears to actually HAVE held.

Barack Obama seems to be a living sealed document, his only true records of achievement being his two autobiographies, and many believe he did not even write those.

And how was he viewed by his colleagues during his years as “Professor”? According to the highest tenured member of the Chicago Law school:

The other professors hated him because he was lazy, unqualified, never attended any of the faculty meetings, and it was clear that the position was nothing more than a political stepping stool. According to my professor friend, he had the lowest intellectual capacity in the building. He also doubted whether he was legitimately an editor on the Harvard Law Review, because if he was, he would be the first and only editor of an Ivy League law review to never be published while in school (publication is or was a requirement).

It seems that Barack Obama truly is a “self-made” man, or rather he made himself up.

What I learned from the Tea Party opponents

I was at a Political rally the other day, and I won’t disclose it’s political candidates or party status based on the Tea Party’s decidedly politically unbiased nature. We our inclusive of those who guardians of our Constitution and Liberties, regardless of party affiliation. That being said, many of our members do tend to be more Conservative than not.

It was interesting that a scant number of what appeared to be Union members showed up to protest our “protest”. What they didn’t understand about us was astounding.

One man had a home-made sign which read “KKK is Tea Party”. I said hello to the man, and urged him to come inside and listen. I also said to him, “We don’t hate you–we simply disagree”. I am unsure if he believed me, but I was telling the truth.

The discussion moved to “free healthcare” being a “right”. One individual said, “What will all the people do if they don’t get Healthcare?” to which I responded, “The same thing they have done for hundreds of years.”

I told them that Americans do not want “Socialized Healthcare”, and one elderly man said, “I am a World War II veteran and I get Socialized healthcare”. I went over, shook his hand, and said, “I honor your service to our country Sir, but you and other Veterans shed blood defending our country, I think that earns you greater rights than anyone else.” He smiled, and perhaps I made one small point.

Basically, what I found out was that these people either were so indoctrinated to not see the danger to our great country. Perhaps the Union paid them to come and protest us. But they really didn’t seem to understand the chance of our country falling as a World power via sheer force of bankruptcy. One man actually said he didn’t think the national debt was “real money”. I assured him it was, basically we were spending his son’s future away. I added, “Are you and I really so different?” He had little to say about that.

When our discussion ended, I wished them all well. I simply told them that we would have to “agree to disagree” but also asked them to come inside and listen. A few actually did, surprisingly. At first, there were a few “disruptors”, but as time went on they went silent.

The facts they heard may have been the reason, we can only hope. I assume that few knew that President Obama has spent more than all previous President’s combined, or that he may soon double the national debt. And that is the debt people, not the deficit. The points made were strong ones, such as the fact that Unions will face layoffs under Obamacare–something that the protestors probably didn’t know.

I spoke to a young woman the other day, a brilliant writer for her side of Conservatism, living in Liberal California no less. Besides her writing career she also works as a nurse and worries about the state of those such as herself in the Medical field. But what really impressed me was her speech about her “Great awakening” to Politics. She grew up in a family of Democrats, and didn’t think much about Politics until 9/11. It was this great tragedy that forced her to pay attention to news, and she began to understand that we are not meer idle members of society, we are the components of a Great Republic. If we take no part, refuse to educate ourselves–we can lose our rights. As she awakened she began to act, writing and speaking on the issues of the Constitution, about the protection of our allies in Israel, about her faith.

She knew that once engaged, the awakened cannot turn back. I truly think there are many Americans just like her. Perhaps some of the Union members I spoke to, although it may take a longer time for them.

So, my friends, watch for truth and fear the media’s indoctrination. Seek out facts and begin to engage your Government and monitor it’s actions. You are not gears in a machine as under Socialism, you are what makes up America.

United we stand

The year was 1768, and it was the Boston Gazette that published “The Liberty Song” by John Dickinson. One line of the song would inspire a notion among people that lives to this day:

“Then join hand in hand, brave Americans all! By uniting we stand, by dividing we fall!”

The quote, “United we stand, Divided we fall” emerged from that point, and was spoken by George Washington in relation to the Constitution as well.

This phrase is more than just a simple Patriot statement, it has deeper meaning. It means to put aside minor differences for the greater cause. Sure, in situations in life, you will not agree with everyone ALL the time, but it is a coalition of similar beliefs that help define a movement. Ronald Reagan had a great “Rule” about Party affiliation (and it is a good rule for any group) called the “80% rule”. President Reagan felt it was better to consider someone a “80% friend” than a “20% enemy”.

The Tea Party began from humble beginnings in that it was a spontaneous emergence of people who have similar feelings about Freedom, the Constitution, the rights of the individual, ect. But what few note is that there was never a litmus test of religion, sexual orientation, age, or color related to the Tea Party. Basically, they agree 80% of the time on the base issues we feel we stand for.

The Tea party is a loose collective of Patriots. Can a Republican be a Tea party member? Why not? Can a Democrat? I don’t see why they shouldn’t. It is their core beliefs that need to be considered, and little more.

Size of group is something that is constantly an attempt at ridicule by the vast Left-wing media in relation to the Tea Parties. Is a group of 50 enough to qualify? Or does it need to be something like Dallas, Texas with 100,000 attending? The answer is both, and all. The Tea party is about individuals collectively expressing their concern over our nation’s course. So in actuality, you could hold a “Tea Party” of 2 in a tiny town and still be valid. And you might even be one person who puts a video on Youtube and inspires a nation to react–you might still consider yourself part of the “Tea Party”.

The issue is that we need to stay united. We can win back our country if we work hard to make those changes happen. We can, as a group from shore to shore, break those bonds that Govt wishes to put on us.

Consider our might as an expression of our hearts and minds, a giant colossus built of our own will, so mighty as to cause fear in the bureacrat and Leftist. But chip away at that great statue over trivial points on contention outside of our main focus, and soon cracks begin to form. Those cracks can become arguments which become feuds and all out claims on the title of “Tea Party”. The face of the statue begins to break away, exposing a creaking armature of steel.

Eventually the mighty red, white, and blue colossus we all build comes crumbling down. It is a fear that this could happen, and only we can keep it from happening.

Join hands Patriots, and shout from the highest mountain our unity. We will not bend or fail, nor will we be changed by our efforts.

Dear America, a suicide note from the Democratic Party

Dear America,

I, the Democratic Party, have thought about this alot in the last 9 months. It has been hard, at first I felt so thrilled by the election of Barack Obama to the Presidency. I literally ran into the streets, screaming “They Love us, they really love us!”. To me, the dawn of a new day had come, and I was the head of it. Regrettably, this feeling was short lived.

It all started when the President decided to promote a great and wonderful program that would provide healthcare for all, and at no cost to anyone. I believed what he said, after all he was the chosen one, he who would provide the solution to all the naysayers from the other side, a messiah of the people. I worked hard to make it all work, but then it happened–all these awful people opposed me, not even giving me a chance to make them understand how I could make their dreams come true, even in ways not envisioned by the greats such as Marx, Lenin, or Mao. Why wouldn’t they listen?!

At first it was just anger. I was angry because they wouldn’t listen. But then my anger became deeper, they were getting in the way of “Change”. If nothing else, I would make them listen. I would treat them like a wife who refused to listen to their husband, and perhaps a few good “corrections” would get them to come around.

So I tried to sweep them out of the way. I did everything I could, bludgeoning them about the head and shoulders, calling them names such as “Tea baggers” “racists” and “homophobes”. Nothing worked, and even some of the members of these groups who were Gay, black, asian, or Latino, sort of objected to my characterization. I got even more upset, who were they to talk? They were nothing more than frauds! Everyone knows you can’t have an individual personality under the tutelage of “The one who must be named, and often”!

It went on like this for months, and I kept going from rage to deep depression. It seemed that these people would not give up. They kept talking about this strange belief system called “Liberty” and referring to outdated documents such as the Constitution.

I sit here now at the edge of my seat in the US Congress, and have decided that it will end soon. I will pull the trigger, and make it happen once and for all. I don’t care what happens afterward, because I never had much time for God or such silly concepts. Oh well, here goes….

Bang! (and here is how the story ends, and the American people allowed the Democratic party to commit suicide)

They could have taken a different route, and I wish it was sad to see them go, but at the same time they did it of their own volition.
